Hi folks… thanks for stopping by!

This a brand new blog that I am setting up as a way to document my upcoming travels in Amsterdam and the Czech Republic, where I will be sampling as much goodness as I can and passing on some practical insider information about how you can get in on the goodness when you’re in that part of the world…

My guiding theme is simple: I like good beer, good food, and affordable places that are as far from the beaten track as possible.

Oh, and I’m a big fan of relaxation, so don’t be surprised if there are some posts that involve hot beer baths & full body massages in the Czech countryside… but more on that later.

I’ve spent a lot of time researching the places I am going to visit, and one of my main goals for this blog is to keep you from having to do the same… just read what I post and check out my suggestions and you will be well on your way to an exciting, fun, hedonistic adventure that won’t leave you completely broke — but will leave you wanting more.
